Thinking in English 1, 2 Critical Thinking Foundation English Critical Thinking Skills Kochi University of Technology Thinking in English 1 and 2 are two 15 lesson courses which teach basic English thinking language and presentation skills. The content is 5 basic genres (information types) of English speech and writing: Description/Classification Comparison Sequence Cause and effect (and inference) Pro and con In each of the 5 units, the students study the vocabulary and sentence patterns required for that genre. Each unit ends with presentations, usually given by pairs of students.
